random 10 with diane

1) I dunno why but my fingernails grow superb fast here..
2) I miss my bolster :/
3) I always sleep after 12 here..time passes extremely fast.
4) We get to choose the colour of our ATM cards :) mine is black & my friend's is pink.
5) I want to watch "Dear John"..and the only reason is because CHANNING TATUM is in it.
6) The Bonython Hall in my uni looks like harry potter's school hall :) so COOOL!
7) The ice cream in my freezer taste like milk O.O but i likey!
8) My kiamsiap friends & I are always hunting for all the Free BBQ lunch provided by our uni and wouldn't mind having them three times in a week.
9) After God knows how long, I finally took out my guitar from its casing & tried playing "thunder". It sounded like crap! It took me a while to notice that it was out of tune.
10) It feels weird to call the apartment that Im currently staying at as home...because its not HOME :(

online enrolment

my mom used to tell me about how she used to line up early in the morning to enrol for classes... so that she'll get to secure those nice timings for herself.
NOW? everything is online. The technology is so advance.

When my mom heard about it, she was like..AIYAHH SUP SUP Water lah!! click click only! MY TIME ARHH...[grandma story] lalala...

but when she ACTUALLY see me do it..
it actually changed her perspective on this thing..

Wanna know why?
1st year student always gets the shitty time slots.
The locals have already enrolled, so most of the classes are all full.
You have to adjust to fit everything into ur timetable no matter how ridiculous it looks.
PLUS some of my compulsory courses didnt even have a single place left for me.
Its frustrating coz when u shift & adjust ur timetable, u will have to drop ur courses to change the time slots..and when u drop them..WHOOOOPS! somebody will immediately take ur spot..1 min later, SORRY mann, ur place is GONE!

so yeala..my sem 1 timetable sucks..there're times when I have to stay at the Uni till 7pm...
but WHAT TO DO? :( so yeala, this is the bad thing about everything being online..
guess everything have their pros and cons.

YOU CAN EAT inside, LOCK your laptop there

and SLEEP on the cosy beany chairs :)

HEYA! it has been a week now in Adelaide :)

YESHHHH I brought the sweet thing! mua guitar :)

in total, our(me, mom,dad) baggage weighed 90.7 kg :P

we took s'pore airlines..and yeah, gotta stop @ s'pore 1st before flying off to adelaide.

quick updates

Its 12.50am here in Adelaide :)
Yeb I should be sleeping but I reaaaalllly wanna blog..

Just some quick updates.

It has been almost a week now here.
Life has been pretty tough.
I didn't expect it to be that tough with no one but only yourself to rely on.

Throughout this few days here, I noticed that I DIDN'T know how to do MOST things ADULTS DO..for instance, paying bills & budgeting.
You know, for the past 18 years of my life..I SWEAR that I've never touched any of my bank stuffs except to only withdraw some cash from my ATM machine. THATS ALL!
My parents managed everything! So I can tell you that I have 0 knowledge about banking.
I only know stuffs from my notes & textbooks. So I really suffered when my dad just left everything to me to settle...without wanting to spoon-feed me with all the informations that was clearly in his head. I was lost, confused, afraid...I needed to look up the brochures & call up my phone company to enquire almost everything. (yes, I definately sounded like an idiot but what to do? haihh..summore Im studying Commerce *smacks head* dooonng!)

But I'm really glad that they came here with me :) At least, I feel assured and more secure.
I wouldn't know how to carry all my groceries without them ( I bought ALOT! and they don't supply u with plastic bags..pffft~~ environmental friendly freaks :/)

Have been trying to break free from my shell & mix with people..I'm quite reserved..but at least I made an effort and FORCED myself to OPEN MY MOUTH & TALK which is pretty good . Starting to get better at making new friends..heh practice makes perfect & I aim to be a super duper talkative, outspoken & confident young lady by end of this year...:) hahah why am I telling you this?
Alright its late now. I have to attend workshops tommorow. Will update with pics in the next post. Probably on sunday.

All in all I had alot of fun meeting up with everyone.

Didn't throw a party for myself like any other ppl would do..

mainly because I wanted to spend quality time with you all

& I suck at throwing parties with big crowds..coz I'll end up spliting myself & not meeting my objective to talk all I want with you guys :)

Haih..but its a pity that I didn't get to meet up with my college buddies :(

Prison Break

FINALLY! After 3 and a half years of getting all tied up with those metal brackets, strings & super adorable mini rubberbands, MY TEETH are now FREE from PRISON!

The process of removing it was friggin' painful..
With all the scraping & polishing,
my gums suffered BIG time.
I wasn't surprise to see blood flowing out with the saliva when I gurgled.

I couldn't remember how my teeth originally felt 3 and a 1/2 years ago.

It feels weird now since its so slippery when I would use my tongue to rub it..

heheh fun :)

but I'll definately miss coming back frm the orthodontist with different colour bands after each visit.

The teachers are getting crazier & crazier each year.

Back then, I thought my teacher was an unreasonable freak because she would cane us if we don't get our parents to donate at least RM100.

But NOW, I think my brother's teacher is even psycho!

It's true that my bro is mischeivious..It's reasonable if you punish him..

but HEY! PUNISH the PARENTS as well? Are you kidding me?

That women punished my bro to write 100 times in chinese, saying:

"I promise to bring my homework everyday & pass it up on time"

AND my parents to sign 100 times,

beside each and every sentences he writes.

10-11.20pm is the most awesome moment of the year!

so far :)

I KNOW, its just feb!

Honestly, this is the 1st rock-band concert I've been to..(not counting Archuleta coz thats no band)

PLUS its my current fav band .

What more can I ask for? HAPPPIEEE like mad lorrrhh.

Darsh & Rach went goo goo gaa gaa over Bryan the blondie bassist!(left)

I on the other hand went nuts over these two! Paul - Guitarist & Martin- Vocalist (right)

was singing & screaming together until my throat sore like hell!

was jumping up and down with my hands up in the air till my legs cramp!

was going OH MEEE GAWWWD with the wide eye look when Martin licked Paul's & Bryan's guitar :)

Darsh grabbed me and we squeezed our way thru to the front(right)

where we had clear view of the band.. wheee~~~~

There was this point when Martin moved until he was directly infront of us,

sang...

& all of a suddenly pointed his index finger at our direction and sang

:"YOU~~"

whoaaaaliaooooo, I was hyperventilating man..holy mama

stored that moment permanently in my head :)
