Stepping into the past...

It has been years since I last stepped into this place until 2 days ago,
my mom pleaded me to follow her there to sort out my bro's stuff.
I had to nod my head since I wouldn't want her to have trouble understanding/communicating in Chinese. Haih..My Chinese is already at the edge of rolling down the drain but she's an english ed..so no choice.


And so, I dragged my feet unwillingly & followed her into the compound..
I never liked primary life because Lick Hung was like a jail to me...really stressful place.


you know, this hallway still creeps me out.
It reminds me of report card day.
Back then,teachers will paste all our results on the notice board,
leaving parents crowding there to compare their kid's results with their friend's.

KIASUU parents will be checking on who's on the TOP!

HOWLIAN parents will be using their index finger to trace across their genius kid's results,
boasting to the whole world ,
maybe screaming :"MY DAUGHTER ARHH..MY SON ARHH.."
(standard line..listen until sien)


My parents are not listed in any of the categories.
I was a slow learner when I was in primary.
Despite being very hardworking, my results have always been average :)
oh wellll...who cares about primary now huh? hahah..

Friday at Fridays

SOoooo, our 5c '08 reunion DID HAPPEN after all.
Zhenbon bet his balls that this will nvr work out & the guys threatened to snip it off.

Thanks to Jo and Kok Fei for organizing this :) It was a success eventhough some of us couldn't make it..
but no worries, we can always have them year after year...as we age.

there are about 30 of us..munching away our burgers,fries,spaghetti..

& the lemon frm zimbabwe that cost Aaron 7 bucks..

HAhah XD inside joke..

apart frm the fact that it burnt our wallets & purses to ashes,

we had a great night didn't we? :)

we had alot of group pics..

most of it with Tiff..(waiting for her 2 upload hers)

Sleepless Night

It was 2.30am and there I was, laying down on my back..
staring blankly at the ceiling for hours..

Even the night/early morning had trouble drowning me into its darkness.
I could tell that my body was definately exhausted but not my brain.
That brain was darn hyperactive..It kept itself clouded with thoughts.

I wanted to puncture it , smack it...not possible.
Instead, I turned to my right and burried my face into the furry creature beside me.
After about 3 hrs of inhaling her scent[she smell good k?]..I drowned into my dream world :)


soooo, the furry creature beats my brain huh?
amazing..

Drama

I have friends crazy over drama's..
korean, japanese, taiwan...u name it they watch it.

No idea why...but I never really got hooked up to any drama's..
To be specific, I only like watching Singaporean drama's.
Not all of them of course.

Wanna know why?

1) The amount episodes are reasonable.
Not too lenghty like my aunts hokkien taiwan drama's that goes up to 600 over episodes. crazy!

2)They have nice twist in the story.
Not too many of them..coz it'll bore me.

3) The video quality is there!
Pictures are always so clear, bright and modern. I get irritated with blurrr images :)

4) The Chinese language they use is understandable
+ they use alot of nice phrases..noticed?


okay, enough with my grandmother story..blah blah blah..
lets get straight to the point :)

and I think its pretty good coz I'm actually hooked to it eventhough I know nuts about ping pong..hahah

I gotta feeling

It's the time of the year when I get this feeling all over again.

The feeling that I'm gonna leave behind my classmates & move on with brand new friends.

The feeling that I'm all alone again ( in the begginning),
uncertain & scared because I know that there's no one that I'm close enough to depend on.

I'm pretty sure that THIS YEAR will be far worse than any other years because I'll be leaving to Aus. That will be very far away from all my friends as most of them planned to go to Melbourne. I on the other hand wanted to experience a quieter lifestyle. So, yeah..no family, no friends to depend on, no maid to cook & wash my clothings. Holy mama! Another weird feeling that I'm gonna be experiencing.
