Numb...Temporary/permanently?

ManU lost to Barca in the finals of Champions League and
I didn't feel a thing...numb numb numb
I didn't even watch the match!
I didn't have the enthusiasm and the "I HAVE TO WATCH or I CANT SLEEP" attitude.

Haven't been watching all the ManU matches this year...
Projects, presentations and exams have been burning all my precious free time..
BUT Im having my hols now.
So, I guess its probably because Im used to "not watching".

You must be wondering...

Blind Dating

Watched "Blind Dating" on You-tube today.
Its actually an old movie, released in 2006.

Can't blame me, I'm in the Chris Pine mood =)

A nice and emo touching movie that u guys should watch..very optimistic

Its a romantic + comedy show about this handsome, brave blind guy "Danny"(Chris Pine) who agrees to sign up for a dangerous experimental procedure: brain surgery that may give him partial vision. He finds it hard to understand girls. Girls turn him down after getting to know that he is visually impaired. His brother was useless for helping him to find the girl of his dream...he found him Hookers =.=

He also has this super sampat counsellor that strips coz she can't stand his "hotness"..and he has to ask her :"are you naked again?"..yeah..=.= wth!

Meanwhile, he falls for a sweet and loving Indian nurse "Liza"(Anjali Jay). They started hanging out as friends. Eventually, she found herself falling for him too...but she is engaged to another Indian man through arranged marriage and she feels that she cannot disobey her parents. The surgery was a success...for only a day because that camera thingy was affecting his brain. He got into severe condition and had to undergo another surgery to get the camera chip out. In the end, he's still blind...oh well..but he's GOT the girl!

Star Trek

I watched Star Trek with Vitthia today.

I thought that this movie was interesting..I expected to get lost and blurrr in the movie since I've zero knowledge about Star Trek...but I was wrong after all =)

Its understandable...not as complicated as I expected it to be .

Basically,this movie is about saving the world and outerspace..

pretty normal and expected plot. Nevertheless, I still think that it's a good movie and you guys should catch it =)

I shall give you a sypnosis about this movie:

Its a story about this starship called "the USS ENTERPRISE" and some young crews trying to stop an evil being whose mission of vengence threatens all mankind.

Captain Kirk tried stopping the evil many star years ago but he was unsucessful of doing so. Instead, he saved hundreds of life and sacrifieses himself in the battle...including his wife who was pregnant with his son. Before he died, he asked his wife to name his son after him - James.T Kirk. (Chris Pine).

James.T Kirk grew up as a farm boy while Spock (Zachary Quinto) was raised in a logic based society that does not accept emotions. Spock was the commander of the ship while James was just a recruit. They were both rivals to be the next captain of the ship and the fate of the galaxy rest in both their hands.

The evil planted many black holes to evacuate many planets.

In the end, they both had a very powerful partnership to win the battle and they became good friends. James.T Kirk became the captain..just like his father =)

I left out some details for you to watch it yourself. By the way, its a blend of science fiction and humour.

As you can see, this is the super awesome starship : USS Enterprise

For girls who are not interested in science fic, NO PROBLEM!

Theres a hot guy in this movie..

The old captain Kirk is replaced by Chris Pine (right..)

Captain Kirk is my favourite character in this movie! its probably because he's funny but he knows when to get serious because he has this determination to be the captain..to save everyone and stuff..just like his father.

but I think its a great song so I'll whack whoever that insult that song!

Ok, I went 2 pyramid with my college friends..

Initially, we planned to take a bus there but nope, no buses stopped for us.

So, we decided to take a taxi..

but one of the taxi man refused to fetch us there..just BECAUSE of the jam

then, we suggested that "hey, why not just walk there?"

T.T too far..

so we ended up walking a long distance towards another bus station.

Fortunately, we found a taxi !

Had a horrible lunch there at a restaurant that sticks "WHY NOT" posters everywhere like decorations...Im serious, its just this two words >>"WHY NOT".

I was thinking, whats so great bout that 2 words?

The minute I put one mouthful of chicken in my mouth..I had this sudden urge to say

"WHY NOT u close shop laaa"

My friends didn't like the food either.

Please don't think of me as a nerdish girl..
I only did it coz its 15% of my finals (math) ppr.
To me, Kris sang his 1st and 3rd song better than Adam..


Its pretty sad that Adam didn't win it..
Adam has THE special VOICE but I think Kris won it because he has the power to connect with the audience with his sweet, soft, simple, tender voice..=) which is not something that everyone can do..My dad loves Kris as well! Especially when he sang "Aint no Sunshine".


"Adam deserves this, Im sorry!" said Kris when he won Idols.
Ryan tried to cover his words by speaking over it. I call this a good host =) kudos Ryan!


To Kris :

You really need to toughen up..
Its not that I don't like you being humble..
but hey, you have to see yourself more clearly..
It doesn't mean that if Adam has more range..he's way better off than you.

It says "no connection to network" on my phone for the past 8 to 9 hours..
I was so frustrated since I couldn't call, text or receive anything frm any1..it was really inconvinient!
so I went to the Maxis centre after college..
and they replaced my SIM card.


That purple SIM card is my old one..pfftt


Ohyaaa..and these 3 girls forced me into wearing a skirt 2 college !
They informed every girl from my class 2 wear skirt on the 14th..
and texted me on the 13th (night) and 14th (morning)..

and yes, i wore a skirt today T.T

My college friends were very nice to me..no teasings! pheww..

pretty embarassed about it when I bumped into my secondary friends coz they made a BIG fuss about it. =.= so malang~~~

they shouted for me from the top floor & I honestly didn't know where 2 hide my face.

I'm currently suffering from O.K.A.D - Obsessive Kris Allen Disorder
Flooded my comp and handphone with his pics and musics..
Set them as my screen saver,desktop background,phone background,phone startup pic,phone screen saver...etc etc
Print-screen video clips of him just to get more of his pictures..
yes,im obsessed..

and his performance tonight was awesome!
I liked his version of Heartless....A LOT..

Wesak Day

HAPPY WESAK to ALL =)

I've not been a very good buddhist this year..
I managed to squeezed some time & went to SJBA on wesak eve at around 10.15pm to pray and offer oil lamp.

I had projects, essays and midyear exams to deal with..
arghh..excuses diane, excuses! can someone please whack me when i go for sunday school?

It's kinda bad since I help out (write oil lamp receipts) every year.

The Unexpected

I watched "American Idol - Rock week" yesterday and thought that Kris and Danny couldn't do rock at all...coz that's just not the kind of music that they sing. On the other hand, I thought Adam and Allison's duet was amazing and breath-taking.

Kris' performance wasn't strong since he chose to do classic rock (very risky choice)...
and I had the feeling that my favourite will only make it to the top 4..
I was devastated..

Emotionally disturbed

Today is a moody day for me..
I thought I would be really happy and free from my Investigative Study paperwork!
Yea, i was..but only for the first 10 minutes from when I stepped into the college area.

Zhuxiao smsed me to say that she was sick and couldnt attend any of the classes except accounts test. Kesian her, she was so weak when I saw her in the cafeteria...For me..Not too bad, I guess...I'll just be lonely for a day. But I was wrong..I barely survived in any of the classes..zzZzz

secondly, (accounts test) I couldnt balance my Balance Sheet due to a stupid error made in my General statement thats related to my sales amount and my net profit amount. I think I classified one of my transactions wrongly too..so 4 to 5 marks GONE? The whole ppr is over 30..so..I lost a whole lot of marks..just times them up T.T and yeah, I still can't get over it!

thirdly, I just got into a fight with one of my secondary classmate through Facebook. As far as I know, I havent fought with anyone since primary 4 or 5. Im not aggressive in nature so yeah..
Seems that I was the main cause of the fight! I wouldnt say that Im not..because I made some mistakes too...but somebody had to exaggerate and twist things up with false statements.

fourth, Im having IT projects again to steal all my precious time (those specially preserved and conserved for mid-yr studying)! Ishhh...only have a few days to do them =.= and I picked one of the worst topics..unlucky unlucky..

sighs..Im just gonna relax my mind and garbage all these outta my head..except IT of course..
